Diamondoodles has evolved since its beginnings in 2014 when it started as an instagram account of playful illustrations made from gemstones.
At heart Diamondoodles has

Whether sourcing stones for custom projects, dreaming up new gemstone cuts, creating the art and illustrations that fill @Diamondoodles, or designing new jewelry, Hannah Becker is dedicated to infusing fun into the precious materials she works with.
Hannah Becker and Diamondoodles are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, though Hannah’s global travels sourcing the finest gemstones and unique treasures for her clients makes her somewhat of a nomad.

Hannah has always been obsessed with all things embellished and shiny; when she was 6 years old her favorite color was rainbow glitter. In 2011 she graduated from Bard College with a B.A. in Art History, completing her senior thesis on the topic of glitter as an artist’s medium in contemporary art. In 2013 she upgraded from glitter to gemstones, attending the Gemological Institute of America where she earned her certification as a Graduate Gemologist and took an intensive 6 month course in CAD jewelry design. While working as a production assistant for a fine diamond jewelry company in 2014 in NYC, Hannah began creating illustrations using the diamonds she was sorting into parcels. After snapping a few photos and sharing them to Instagram, the doodles from her daydreaming gained recognition and transformed into a side hustle and then a business.
Hannah’s irreverent sense of humor and whimsy shine through the work she creates as she seeks to strike a balance between opulence and kitsch.
